Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Junior Khanye, has reiterated his prediction that Mamelodi Sundowns will win the Absa Premiership title and not Amakhosi.
As the PSL has confirmed that the 2019/20 season is set to finally resume, Chiefs will look to widen the gap at the top of the log, while Sundowns will be attempting to overtake them to defend their trophy.

Chiefs are at the top of the standings with a four-point gap between them and Sundowns and Khanye believes that the one game in hand for the Brazilians will help them to overtake Amakhosi.
“Let me first tell people that I am not fighting Kaizer Chiefs when I comment about the club. Kaizer Chiefs is like a home to me and I have no reason to fight them but I comment based on what I see and think. I am very disappointed at people who are creating fake social media accounts using my name because they make it look like I am the one saying the things they write. I don’t have a Twitter account and I only have a Facebook account which is used by a guy I asked to monitor and I tell him what to post. He is very professional. But my conscious is clear and I don’t owe anybody any explanation for the things that are posted in social media using my name,” said Khanye.

“I don’t see Chiefs winning the league. I will die a Kaizer Chiefs fan – or let me not say a fan but a member of the family if I may put it that way. People thought I was mad when Chiefs was leading by 13 points or so last year and I said they won’t win the league. How many points did they drop since then? Sundowns have a game in hand and they will win it. They are well rested and are out of the Champions League. Sundowns is going to win the league,” he said.
