Mshishi, as Zwane is known in football circles, made a whopping 42 appearances in all competitions in the 2021/22 season and remains one of the top players for the former African champions.
Last year, Sundowns exercised their one-year option on Zwane’s contract as his previous deal was coming to an end, to retain him for the season that was just completed.

The Siya crew can reveal that a new two-year deal is in the works for the 32-year-old attacker.
“The club is busy with the contract of Themba Zwane and that’s what we are working on at the moment. It’s in the final stages and the boy is staying to continue with his immense contribution to the team. It’s a two-year contract and all the parties happy with it. Expect an announcement in the coming days,” confirmed the source.
