Treble winners Mamelodi Sundowns are back in full swing for pre-season, as the club took its supporters behind the scenes into the medicals players undergo when they return from their break.
Sundowns returned for pre-season late last week after bagging the DStv Premiership, MTN8 and Nedbank Cup titles. New signing Sipho Mbule was part of the start of pre-season and the club is expected to welcome SuperSport United and Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams, while Ricardo Goss is believed to be heading in the other direction in the hope of getting more game-time.
Williams is expected to pen a three-year deal with the club, with an option to extend for a further two years.
Moroccan defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil is also a player Sundowns are looking at bringing in, as they have been in the market for a left-footed centre back to replace Brazilian Ricardo Nascimento, who left Chloorkop during the January transfer window.
One player who is part of the pre-season preparations is experienced attacker Sibusiso Vilakazi, with the club yet to announce what the plans are for the former Bidvest Wits captain.
"It's a tricky one with Vila. He has done so much for the club, so a decision has to be made," a well-placed source told the Siya crew.
