A Mamelodi Sundowns player looks set for loan spell in the GladAfrica Championship in the second half of the season.
Doudy James signed a five-year contract with Sundowns back in September, as reported by the Siya crew, along with another youngster Jerome Karelse.
Karelse has been in fine for for Sundowns in the Diski Challenge and is likely to stay with the club through the campaign, while James has been getting most of his game-time with the club's reserve side, M Tigers, in the ABC Motsepe League.
According to information received by the Siya crew, James could head out in the January transfer window on a loan spell in the second tier.
The 21-year-old James had an assessment with second tier rookies Platinum City Rovers, but it is understood that the club opted against a loan move. James' representatives are currently looking to find a club for the player in the GladAfrica Championship, so that he is able to enjoy some playing time at a professional level.
Some of the first team Sundowns players who are believed to be heading out on loan in January are Lesedi Kapinga, Musawenkosi Mdluli and Promise Mkhuma.
