Siya sources have indicated that Mamelodi Sundowns are open to sending one of their players out on loan next season to get in game-time.
Sphelele Mkhulise, who is fondly referred to as ‘Pitso’ at Sundowns, could be sent out on loan in the new season, with the player’s representative revealing that game-time elsewhere will be beneficial for the 23-year-old.
“We believe that it will be in Mkhulise’s best interest to get game-time elsewhere in the new season. However, Sundowns will make the final decision on the player’s immediate future,” Mirko Agnelli told the Siya crew.
Mkhulise has made just four appearances in all competitions for Sundowns, despite being highly rated by Head Coach Pitso Mosimane.
However, indications are that the club is willing to let Mkhulise get playing time on loan, although is not willing to permanently sell the winger.
Other players such as the likes of Mohomi and Aubrey Ngoma could also be loaned out in the upcoming July/August transfer window, should the Brazilians not want to sell.
However, it remains to be seen what decisions Sundowns will make on the immediate future of their out-of-favour players in the upcoming transfer window.
