Mamelodi Sundowns will travel to Morocco this week for an important CAF Champions League clash although a few of their first team players are nursing injuries.
Sundowns opened their group stage campaign with an impressive 3-0 win at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday evening, this without the services of the likes of Themba Zwane and Denis Onyango.
As confirmed by the Brazilians, Jose Ali Meza is receiving treatment for a groin injury, Mosa Lebusa had an aggravated hamstring, Onyango also nursing a hamstring strain and Lucky Mohomi and Phakamani Mahlambi are also still recovering.
However, on the upside, Zwane and Laffor have started training and are expected back in the coming weeks.
Although, it remains to be seen whether any of these players will make the trip this week.
Sundowns will lock horns with Wydad Casablanca in their second CAF Champions League group stage encounter, with the showdown scheduled to take place on Friday, December 06 at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca.
