SuperSport United have made bids for two of Mamelodi Sundowns’ players in an attempt to bring them on board for the start of the new season…
The Siya crew has previously reported Matsatsantsa’s interest in both Aubrey Ngoma and Lucky Mohomi, and now it has been confirmed that they have made an official offer to their neighbours in attempt to snap them up.
Both Ngoma and Mohomi have struggled to tie down a regular place in Tshwane since making the move to Chloorkop, and SuperSport’s CEO, Stan Matthews, has confirmed that he’s waiting for a response from Sundowns with regards to the pair.
Matthews told the crew, “We’ve made cash bids for Ngoma and Mohomi at Sundowns, and we’re now waiting to hear back from them. We have drawn a line under a date though, and if we don’t hear back within 10 days then we’ll be moving on to other targets.”
Sundowns are known to be in the hunt for SuperSport duo, Teboho Mokoena and Aubrey Modiba, however Matthews has stated previously that he will not be selling either of the players locally.
The crew will keep tabs on the situation to see if talks between the two clubs go any further.
