A decision will be made on a Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper who is looking to get more game-time.
Jody February joined Sundowns before the start of the current campaign after spending last season on loan with GladAfrica Championship side Cape Umoya United, but he has not had a chance to play or sit on the bench for the defending Premiership champions.
The Siya crew reported that the former Ajax Cape Town goalkeeper requested a loan move during the last transfer window, but a move did not materialize for the player before the window shut close.
According to information received by the Siya crew, February could get a chance to go out on loan next season, though nothing has been discussed as yet.
“Of course (he wants to get game-time), but we need to evaluate it at the end of the season,” February’s representative Mike Makaab tells the Siya crew.
“At the moment, nothing has been discussed.”
Denis Onyango is the first-choice goalkeeper at Sundowns and has, in recent times, been backed by Ricardo Goss as the number two shot-stopper. There’s Kennedy Mweene and Reyaad Pieterse who are also wanting to get some appearances under their belts.
Pieterse is another player who has been linked with a move away from the club.
