Mamelodi Sundowns have revealed that both Oupa Manyisa and Rivaldo Coetzee are out of moon boots.
Manyisa had surgery done to his Achilles tendon last year, where Pitso Mosimane revealed that the midfielder might not be able to play for the rest of the 2019/20 season.
He has since made progress in his recovery, where he is now out of the moon boot and able to properly begin his rehabilitation.
Coetzee on the other hand, picked up an injury to his ankle in a clash against Stellenbosch last month, where he was also subsequently put into a moon boot.
However, both these players are now out of their moon boots and underway with their rehabilitation.
Indications are that Coetzee may make a quicker recovery than Manyisa, where he will still be able to join up with the team at some point in the season.
However, it remains to be seen how long it will take both these players to get back into action on the field.
