Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane will be back in South Africa in what should be an emotional return for him.
The CAF Champions League quarterfinal draw was conducted in Cairo on Friday and Mosimane's Al Ahly side will take on Sundowns.
Mosimane left Sundowns before the start of the season to join arguably the biggest club on the continent and he's had a fairytale run so far, including lifting the Champions League title.
This is a draw many South Africans were looking forward and it will no doubt get a lot of attention, with Mosimane not one to shy away from playing mind games with comments he makes in the media.
Ahly finished second in group A behind Tanzanian giants Simba, while Sundowns topped group B after showing fine form throughout the campaign.
Mosimane recently said no one would want to play Ahly in the quarterfinal and Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena responded by saying that it's the former Bafana Bafana coach who would in fact not want to face the Brazilians, given the form they have been in this season.
It should make for an interesting clash.
