Five Mamelodi Sundowns players were representing Bafana Bafana in the Africa Cup Of Nations competition and consequently will be given some time off before reporting for club duty.
Hlompho Kekana, Themba Zwane, Tiyani Mabunda, Sibusiso Vilakazi and Lebohang Maboe were all part the AFCON setup in Egypt, with the South African national team set to land in South Africa on Saturday, after exiting the competition in the quarter-finals.

Bafana suffered a 2-1 loss to Nigeria at the weekend, putting an end to their AFCON campaign in Egypt.
As the local players return to Mzansi, Sundowns have confirmed that the five players that are set to return to Chloorkop, will be given a two-week rest before reporting for pre-season training.
“Tiyani Mabunda, captain Hlompho Kekana and the attacking trio of Themba Zwane, Sibusiso Vilakazi and Lebohang Maboe will be allowed to take at least two weeks off before re-joining their teammates for full pre-season,” the Brazilians confirmed on their official website.
Sundowns will get their defending Absa Premiership campaign underway on August 03, when they lock horns with their Tshwane rivals, SuperSport United.
