Mamelodi Sundowns and Stellenbosch paid a special tribute to the late Anele Ngcongca during the first half of the DStv Premiership clash.
The South African football fraternity woke up to the sad news that Ngcongca had passed on Monday after a car accident.
All the teams in the Premier Soccer League held a moment of silence for the fallen star, while Sundowns and Stellenbosch had a special tribute.
The two teams decided to stop the game at the 16th minute in the first half and held a minute's applause for Ngconcga.

Kermit Erasmus also paid tribute to his former teammate after scoring the second goal in the first half.
