News reaching the Siya crew is that Mamelodi Sundowns could look to part ways with one of their players sooner rather than later.
Soccer Laduma reported recently that Ivorian defender Soumahoro Bangaly has been training away from the first team, as he is not in the plans of the technical team led by Manqoba Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena.
It is now believed that the two parties could look at a permanent separation. The player was signed by former Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane in 2015 from ASEC Mimosas, but his time at the club has not been as successful in terms of getting regular game time. Last
Bangaly is in the final year of his contract with Sundowns and he would have to have to see out his contract and not play at all until the end of the season if a separation is not negotiated.
Chippa United and SuperSport United were said to have been interested in the player, though nothing materialized before the close of the transfer window period on August 31.
Sundowns, meanwhile, will host Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership at Loftus Versfeld on Sunday.
