Mamelodi Sundowns’ team captain, Hlompho Kekana is excited about this evening’s draw, although, he does have one wish.
The group stage draw will be held this evening, with Sundowns having the possibility of being drawn alongside the likes of Al Ahly, TP Mazembe and Esperanza de Tunis.
Although Sundowns are always ready for all the back and forth traveling through Africa, Kekana says that he would like his group stage opponents to be a direct flight away, without any layovers.

“I hope we get a nice draw where we will have a direct flight. When we have those it’s nice,” Kekana told the Siya crew.
“But look we are at the stage where we can’t avoid anyone so we need to use this opportunity to enjoy our matches. It’s Champions League and very interesting, there’s lessons to take.” “So for me, whenever the competition arrives I get so excited because I won it before and I know the benefits after winning it.”
“But, I would love to travel everywhere, it’s nice because of all the cultures in the competitions,” he added.
