Haashim Domingo has opened up about why he joined Mamelodi Sundowns, while also revealing his desire for regular game-time.
The 25-year-old playmaker joined the Brazilians from the defunct Bidvest Wits and has so far made just two appearances for the Tshwane giants.
Sundowns have made a number of new signings for the 2020/21 campaign, with quality in their squad now overfilling at this point.
However, speaking to the Sundowns’ official website, Domingo revealed the reason why he joined the Brazilians and how he hopes to play regularly and help the team, especially in their upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
“I am enjoying the time I have spent with the club since joining and you know Sundowns have a lot of great players and that is what made me join the team. It has been a great time and I am learning every day at training,” he said.
“I want to play regularly, help the team to win trophies more especially the CAF Champions League. By playing that will also help in my chances of playing for Bafana Bafana.”
