A former Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper has joined a club in Spain, following his exit from Chloorkop.
Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Brimah, who had been on Downs’ books from 2017, has joined Linares Deportivo FC in Spain for the new season.
The shot-stopper had been playing in Spain for Córdoba CF when he was signed by Sundowns two years ago.
Having started his career in Portugal in 2007, Brimah went on to play for a number of clubs in Spanish lower divisions, before he was lured to Mzansi for a stint with the Brazilians.
“A new member arrives at the band… @ razak_no_1 !! Experience and guarantees for the Azulilla goal. #RazakAzulillo #TeQuieroLinares, ” the Spanish club tweeted, confirming the goalkeeper’s signing.
Linares play in Spanish Segunda B League. The 32-year-old Accra-born goalkeeper has been without a club since he left Sundowns last year.
