Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi has confirmed the return of two players after the international break gave them time to recover from knocks.
Rivaldo Coetzee has missed Sundowns' last four league matches with a knock, but could make a return to the starting line-up as Mngqithi confirmed that the player is back in training.
Coetzee is on three yellow cards going into this weekend's DStv Premiership clash against Cape Town City and would need to avoid getting booked, so that he does not miss next Wednesday's Tshwane derby.
Another player who is back in training, according to Mngqithi, is right back Khuliso Mudau.
"The break came at the right time for us. We had some knocks... Rivaldo (Coetzee), (Khuliso) Mudau also got a knock and now all those players. We almost have a full strength squad as it is now, which puts us in a very difficult position as coaches in terms of team selection," Mngqithi told the Sundowns media department.
Log leading Sundowns, unbeaten in the league this season, overcame City on penalties in the MTN8 final earlier this month and Mngqithi said it's important to put that result behind them and focus at the task at hand.
"We are facing a very good team, very organised, very dangerous offensively, very dangerous on transition from defence to attack. But (they are) a team that has some defensive frailties that we can try capitalise on. We are going into the game with a lot of respect and humility. The MTN8 result is history, so it's very important to go into this match and respect it because they gave us a tough time in the MTN8. Based on that, we know very well what to expect in this match."
