Mamelodi Sundowns are raiding Bidvest Wits, their Premier Soccer League counterparts whose topflight status is on the verge of being sold, for players.
Yesterday, the Siya crew broke the news that Deon Hotto had emerged as a target for the Brazilians, with indications that the two clubs may already be in contact and agreed a deal in principle for the sale of the Namibian winger.

We can reveal this evening that Downs have now also tabled another bid – this time for attacker Hashim Domingo, who is only in his second season with the Clever Boys.
The 24-year-old returned back to SA after a brief spell abroad where he played in Portugal and in Norway before being snapped up by Wits.
Gavin Hunt has often hailed him as the next Bafana Bafana sensation and called the fact that he’d not yet made his national team debut a “disgrace” two years ago.
It now appears he has always been on Sundowns’ radar and they have followed up that interest by officially tabling a bid for Domingo and hope he, Hotto and Wits captain Thulani Hlatshwayo can remain teammates at Chloorkop next season and have agreed to pay R17-million for all three.
Domingo has so far this season managed 32 games in all domestic and continental competitions and scored three goals, and at his age a move back to Europe is still a possibility.

The pending sale of Bidvest Wits to businessman Masala Mulaudzi, which is still yet to be ratified by the PSL executive committee, seems to have opened the door for Sundowns’ raid on the oldest club in the country.
But Downs will have to spend big to land all three, especially after the Siya crew confirmed last week that Domingo had signed a new contract at Wits that will run until June 2023. Both Hotto and Hlatshwayo, who they have been courting for some time now despite serious interest from Orlando Pirates, have deals that only expire in June 2022.
