Mamelodi Sundowns aren’t only looking at targets for next season, the newly crowned DStv Premiership champions are also holding on to what they have.
It’s been confirmed to the Siya crew that Andile Jali and Rivaldo Coetzee have had their options at the club triggered for another season.
“They are staying at the club and I can, in actual fact, confirm Sundowns have exercised the options on Andile and Rivaldo,” said Mike Makaab, who is the long-time agent of the Bafana Bafana duo.

With the Brazilians crowned champions on Wednesday last week for a record fourth title in a row, both Jali and Coetzee can be proud to have had a major impact.
Jali made 19 league appearances and a total of 28 in all competitions, while Coetzee, often paired alongside him in central midfield, featured 20 times and managed an impressive 30 games across all tournaments.
Downs signed Jali on an initial three-year contract in July 2018 with an added option to extend it further by two seasons.
Makaab has now confirmed the midfielder will be tied to the club until June 2023.
Coetzee joined the club the year before, so the option that has been taken means his contract will run until June 2022.
The Siya crew has previously reported that Downs had already opened talks with Coetzee’s camp over a new deal altogether.
