One of Mamelodi Sundowns’ midfielders is at risk of missing their upcoming Absa Premiership clash against Orlando Pirates.
The Brazilians will host the Bucs at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday evening, as they look to secure maximum points to take them within one point of log-leaders, Kaizer Chiefs.
However, before then, Sundowns have a trip away to the Makhulong Stadium to face Highlands Park in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals on Saturday, March 14.
While the Brazilians will want to be at full force this weekend and still try to avoid any injuries for their upcoming clash against the Bucs, one of their players at risk of missing the Absa Premiership clash.
Andile Jali is the only Sundowns player who is currently on three yellow card bookings, which means that should the player be cautioned once more in their game against the Lions of the North, he will be suspended for the clash against his former team on Tuesday.
Jali has never played a full 90 minutes against the Bucs since joining the Brazilians last season, in fact, in the clash away at Orlando Stadium in January this year, the midfielder was substituted during half-time.
