May 31 is generally the deadline date for the likes of Jeremy Brockie and others to know the fate of their long-term future.
As reported this week by the Siya crew, Brockie, whose current deal with Mamelodi Sundowns comes to an end on June 30, will today know his fate, as the Brazilians need to decide whether or not they will be exercising the added option on his contract.
SuperSport United are already showing interest in bringing the ‘Sniper’ back to Matsatsantsa, however, his future remains in the hands of Sundowns until June 01.
“The most important thing to me right now is to get back to playing football. I know I have a lot of good football left in me and I’m not ready to stop playing yet. Right now it’s in Sundowns’ hands whether or not that will be with them, or somewhere else,” Brockie told the Siya crew on Thursday.
The 32-year-old is currently on loan with Maritzburg United and is expected to remain with the KwaZulu Natal-outfit until the season draws to a close.
