Schut, who lifted the 2013/24 Absa Premiership trophy with Sundowns, was in South Africa when he stopped by at the Chloorkop-based club, although the Brazilians had already been underway with their preparations in Egypt.
“I was on holiday this week in South Africa so I dropped by the club. I know you guys are in Egypt and you have to play Al Ahly and I know you are going to do well and make us proud. I will be watching, good luck guys,” Schut said on Sundowns’ official Twitter account.
Sundowns will face off with Al Ahly tomorrow before returning home to Mzansi to host the Egyptian giants in the return leg on March 07.
