The setting was modest, the mood jovial, the dignitaries on hand pretty impressive and the atmosphere was electrifying as the Germans conquered the town. The English turf was sea of garish yellow & black but later Red dominates the City. Its almost a year since Chelsea tormented B.Munich and surely that has spurred Bayern to triumph this addition CL; it has been a significant catalyst in their success this season. In the process, they have surely killed off all the allegations about this being a team who had forgotten how to win this competition, on the back of five defeats in their previous six finals. However, the title game was a thrilling affair even if the winning goal wasn't much to look at. The German rivals played a breathless final 20min, with chance after chance at either end denied by Weidenfeller and his Bayern counterpart, Manuel Neuer. But, I knew Robben & Ribery were the artists that were expected to unlock the Dortmund defence. They struggled to begin with, and Robben fluffed his lines with three or four chances in the opening period. They stayed a little too wide and couldn’t influence the game. But they started to drift inside in the second half and Robben, in particular, stuck at it. He plays pivotal role on the team victory, he was so incisive. No secrete both players are spinal-cord of Bayern team success; love them or loath them, they delivered. We should also acknowledge youthful Borrusia bravery in the competition, the played exceptionally well. The team has plucky underdogs, the gallant losers. But that won't be much balm. They deserve all praises comes to them...Cheers Jupp! What a way to go out, whether he wanted to go or not.

I salute Millions of Amakhosi fans Club Organizers Players and Technical team they deserve to brag they deserve success they are true Champs. If Sundowns Players didn't cope something they are blind like a snake covered by its own skin SuperSport started the trend Pirates did it and now Chips followed suit PITSO MOSIMANE must be aggressive with his approach next season Sundowns Players need a sjambok. They need to be advised that football is short career make cash while it's early Khune did it R750 000 in 1month from Weekly newspapers Magazines and different prizes.

Well done to King Khune for winning the player of the year for 2012/2013 season. You are the best boy.
Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter and Itumeleng Khune were the biggest recipients at the Premier Soccer League awards. It's a job well done for them as they have managed to steer the Kaizer Chiefs ship for almost 40 nights away from stormy waters. They were at the summit of the PSL log standings with no other credible opponent to topple them. Winning the cup and the league double gave credence to Stuart's coaching credentials. What a better way to prove his detractors otherwise and compel them to eat humble pie in the process, after he achieved such a remarkable feat in his first stint.

I would like to congradulate msanzi number 1 shot stoper with the awards he was receiving last sunday. Khune, you have been playing vital role in the success of Kaizer Chiefs this season; you deserve those awrds mfethu. Hard luck to Parker after spending such great time at the top be missed in the last minute for Mashego. All in all welll done Chiefs for the double victory but reignforcement is need at the end of the day, especially striking department.
I hope king Khune will be our biggest export come the transfer window period.he has overstayed his welcome in the PSL
Sibongile Tyhokolo, Ekapa
What a season for Khune. He swept everything on offer. If the right offer comes in for Khune please don't stand on His way Mr Kaizer, you've overgrown our local football.

So after winning two trophies,Chiefs have reclaimed the glory? From who,Pirates?Pirates won the trebble twice, the best ever record in PSL history. For Chiefs to reclaim the glory that's if the equal or sapass the Pirates record of winning trebble in a seoson, never mind twice in succesion.

Congragulation in order for Kaizer Chiefs in lifting the Nedbank cup.For Stuart Baxter to say it was a difficult seoson for the team,i say to him wait for next seoson when you have to defend the two trophies, that's when you will see a difficult one.
Derick Maremeni,Ha Mashamba
it is a good thing that Neymar's much anticipated move to Europe has final been concluded, this move will afford us the opportunity to see if the hype about him been one of the best footballer was worthy it. I think he made the right decision choosing Barca over Real madrid though Real were offered more money in terms of transfer fee and salary than Barca offered .had Neymar opted for Real over Barca he was gonna end up like Robinho and Kaka, Real are notorious for destroying players careers, they are the spanish version of Mamelodi Sundowns. I'm confident Neymar will succeed at Barca under the guidance of Xavi, inesta and Messi, Neymar and Messi's combination will be unstoppable, God have Messi on Barca's opponents next season.
Rito Hlungwana, Xitlhelani
I was very disappointed by the Nedbank player of the Tounarment, I believe Adwin Gyman should have walk away wt the accolade, d guy have received 2 man of the match prior to d final, and I believed he was robbed an award. Sundowns players don’t have respect for themselves and supporters, how on earth Tebogo Langerman accused us of J.Neeskens resignation, clearly the guys didn’t want to play for him, and they didn’t respect him as a coach, ask Clayton Daniels, W.Sandilands those guys were very honest wt Soccer Laduma, so stop accusing us

Finally the best players were rewarded regardless of which positions they play in. To chiefs can you get us Khama Billiat,Sibusiso Vilakazi and Masalesa for next season to reclaim more glory. To pirates Roger De Sa is still small team minded, the team is too big for him just step down and you will come back after five seasons. To dikwena you will find your team fighting relegation two seasons down the line by not fighting to retain your best players. To sundowns stop fighting for every overpriced players and reinforce only when needed. Finally leopards deserve to go down so is chippa, well done to tukkies and polokwane city.

congrates to all the winners, especily to Khune he deserve them,he had a great season, however i think they robbed Fikru for the best goal of the season, since he scored against the best keeper of the season, players player of the seasons and footballer of the season and without facing the goal posts, for Mor Diouf's goal its easy to score when the keeper is offline irrespective of distance you shooting from...the less said about poor officiating in the Nedbank final the better (it sum up the bed season for referees). the glory days continues next season..!!
Ronny Nghonyama, DK
Congratulations to Kaizer Chiefs for reclaiming the glory by winning the double. I hope the Pirates chairman will learn from Kaizer to invest in a few quality players for results, not this thing of buying eleven new players every off season, nine of which are average. And the investment in the technical bench, not hiring a coach just because he is cheap.
Mzansi number one, Chiefs finest,Africa,s best. The expects, players ,coaches, clubs and supporters have spoken so who am I to argue? Chomane,s question was’ which striker do you fear the most? and his answer was “if I name one this strikers will undermine me and I fear nobody but god”.halala Khune halala….

Itu Khune is the name that is in everyone mouth right now in the soccer fraternity after scooping 100% (4 out of 4) which is R575k in total. He really deserved everything he got on the night after captaining the team from the front and contributed a lot in the mission of reclaiming the glory. With that been said I wouldn’t expect to see him next season in the PSL b’coz he has overgrown it and he’s matured enough to face European challenge. If Jazzman can’t get a deal for him in the big leagues I’ll advise Khune to fire him b’coz that will be a total fail.
How will we ever be able to develope players while our coaches keep wondering if they're gonna be around in the next round. The coaches in the bottom half of the league are always trying to save their jobs. You can't gamble in those positions because survival is more inportant than developement.Youngsters can only play when the team is in the top half and the coach is bold enough to gamble. The Psl is killing these teams with the Reserve league played in some provinces while other teams can't play.Platinum Stars and Black leopards can't participate.
Football is cruel and unpredictable, how can a young boy Wanderson fail to impress at Ajax when he displayed a good football. The boy played his heart out for the team, i don't know what he was suppose to do to impress the Ajax technical team. I wish the boy to get a team that will value his talent and boast the boy's moral, Wanderson is very good, he deserve a good team in the PSL.

i like to say congratulation to amakhosi ajabulile (kaizer cheifs) to win us trophies this season, and well done to our players, technical team and supporters for for good participation.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Itumeleng Khune on scooping the PSL awards for this season, he has done immensely well for his team. He contributed to his team’s success of winning a double and it is quite an achievement for the goalkeepers at large as they hardly get recognised. My only worry is that there is no consistency in the way things are done in South African football. Both Jali and Sangweni did exactly what Khune did for Pirates in the past two seasons preceding this, they both helped Pirates win a treble which was never achieved by any team in the PSL history, but their contribution was in vain in that they were not recognised for their hard work, instead people whose teams won nothing were awarded for achieving nothing. This is an inconsistency at its best by those who have the duty to award players. Nothing takes away the fact that Khune deserves the awards, but the powers that be must begin to treat teams equally. This is not sour grapes and not complaining because Khune won, he is not at fault and he worked hard for his achievements but journalists and coaches must play a fair game.
Mosala Mosala, Colesberg
The Teams Always complain about crowd but this Saturday it was fully parked, But what did they get 0-0 the whole 90minutes. Which book is been used to train our Coaches & instruct then after 1 goal the team must defend, 85% of our games are the same.
Happy Phahlane, Groblersdal
Congratulations to Itumeleng Khune for sweeping clean the PSL Awards last Sunday night at the Gold Reef Casino. While Mr Khune deserved all the awards that he received on the night including the Footballer of the Year, one questions the consistency of the award organisers. It looks like there is alwys a third force secretly working under ground. My point is, in 2010-11 season, Orlando Pirates won the treble and surprisingly, Thulani Serero got the Footballer of the Year ahead of Andile Jali despite his team winning nothing! In 2011-12 season, Pirates, once again won the treble but, once again, Siyabonga Nomvethe won the Footballer of the Year ahead of Siyabonga Sangweni despite his team winning nothing! This season Khune has won it and they are saying because his team has won the double! Hahaha, this is laughable to say the least! Can't these people try to be a little proffessional sometimes? Double standards at its ugliest level!
Wylo Allabi, Hambanathi, Tongaat
These PSL awards are a bit Pathetic…I predicted that this was going to Happen…Khune deserved every award he got no doubt about that …but PSL is not consistence…Bucs won the first triple all the awards went to Thulani Serero instead of Jali…last season all the awards went to Nomvethe instead of Sangweni mind you Nomvethe didn’t win the League yet he walked away with everything now they change the Goal Posts cos chiefs has won the right recipient is awarded, if Bucs had won the league Phala was going to receive all the awards…this should be the precedent if your team wins the ligi coach and player from the wining team must get awards period
Wiseman Majozi, Honey Dew
The Investment that Kaizer Chiefs made has indeed paid off. It is unarguable that this season’s team has been one of the best squad in the recent history of the Glamour Boyz. After such a consistent performance, they truly deserve the Double Championship. Having dominated the National Team, it was not by chance that they dominated the PSL Awards as well. As for Khune, he really deserves those team and personal awards, after an outstanding season he had, playing 29 League games and only conceding 21 games is an excellent record as a shot stopper. I would like to sincerely congratulate the boyz and wish them all the best in next year’s CAF Champions League as Glory continues. Credit should go to everyone in the Khosi Family, the Players, the Coach with his Technical Team as well as the supporters, they have been all fantastic. #The Glory Continues
Odwa Matomane, Johannesburg
Well done to Amakhosi! Well done to the management, the technical staff and the players. They did everything in their power to make us, the supporters happy. I must commend Bra K for bringing Baxter back to help the team reclaim the glory. I must admit I had too little belief in Baxter when he came here but now I am eating this big humble pie.
Siyabonga Zondi, Braamfontein
It is so sad that a team who dominated SA football for two years have lost their grasp to such an extent that they are reduced to a team that settles for crumbs at the end of the season, none of our players won any award, the team failed to win a single trophy, and even failed to be runners up for the title. This was in many ways the most boring season of the PSL, Chiefs were handed the title on the silver platter with no one man enough to challenge them. To Mr Khoza I only have 1 question, how do you fire a man who won you a treble? I hope next season will provide us with better excitement.
Paballo Lefakane, Meadowlands
It baffles me that a guy who only scored one goal (Mour Diof) gets R50 00 while the guy who scored 13 goals gets R15 000,these PSL awards need some reviewing
Tyhokolo Sibongile, Ekapa
Looking to what happened during the PSL awards, one will be unfair for not applauding the PSL for the recognition of the recipients who set the season on fire. Although it was one man show, it is good if the efforts you put in this game is recognised. I’m little bit concerned with the amount put on leading goal scorer, which is R25000 compared to Absolutely goal of the season at R50000. It looks like very much unfair for Mashego to get half of what Diouf got with all number of goals he has scored. He scored 13 and Diouf one goal, and he is awarded R50000. Are we saying the goals Mashego has scored made no contribution to Swallow and also to the league standing?
When Chiefs lost 4-1 to Sundowns in the MTN 8, haters said that Amakhosi new signings are overrated. They forgot that good players do not become bad players because of one heavy defeat. Now Amakhosi have won the double, I just wonder what they are saying now. Well done Stuart Baxter for also overcoming Gavin Hunt’s defensive tactics.
Goddard Ngobeni, PTA
Pep Guardiola has tough job on his hand, to defend probaly trible! Bayern Munich is well oiled machine build by Jupp Heynkes for past two years. I like Robben persistant from being so wastiful to hero is really remarkable you deserve it broer.

I'd like to congratulate Stuart Baxter and Amakhosi for winning both the 2012/2013 Absa Premiership title and the Nedbank Cup. I must confess for all to see that I strongly doubted Mr Kaizer Motaung Snr's choice of a coach & Baxter's ability to bring back any glory to Naturena. He managed to do that from day one till the 18th of May 2013. Thank you Sir Baxter for proving me wrong.
Well done to Kaizer Chiefs once more for winning the Nedbank Cup. It was a tough game for both sides, then at last the one who showed hunger were crowned the Champions. They were so exciting the whole season and they really derseve this double. Also congrats are in order for Itumeleng Khune for scooping all those awards .He was so outstanding through out the season,he lead by example.A great season indeed for Amakhosi. Well done also to everyone who did get involved ,hope we see more next season.
