Reneilwe "Yeye" Letsholonyane is one of two of the best box-to-box midfielders (the other being Oupa Manyisa) in the Premiership.
He is the vital key between attack and defence and the only player in the Kaizer Chiefs team who has a big enough engine to ensure the continuous and steady momentum of our transitions from defence to attack.
Our central midfield is somewhat in a state of displacement currently. There is Yeye, who’s probably the number one choice, however at 32-years-old he is fast approaching his sell by date. Then we have 33-year-old Siyabonga Nkosi, who is followed by the 35-year-old Josta Dladla, who’s yet to sign a contract with Chiefs.
The only ray of light is George Maluleka, but to rest our hopes on one player is never a good idea, especially if you’re Chiefs. Especially if you have a players as talented as Lucky Baloyi who is just lingering, waiting for a chance to shine.
