Hunt VERY Disappointed

Our head coach, Gavin Hunt, rightly voiced his frustration after yesterday’s MTN8 first leg semi-final clash against Orlando Pirates which saw the Clever Boys run out 2-0 losers.

“I am very disappointed. The first goal came from a poor corner. Just before the second goal we should have equalised to make it 1-1, but then they ran down and scored at the other side,” said Hunt.

“We could have played till tomorrow and we wouldn’t have scored, the ball just wasn’t bouncing for us. We just have to try pick up the pieces and go again.”

It is true; our Clever Boys were not so clever on the day. We had a measly one chance throughout the whole game, while Pirates had four and converted two of those.

This is not the Wits from last season!
