We’re three points clear at the top of the PSL and have a game in hand on Mamelodi Sundowns… If we beat them on Saturday, is the title ours?
As it stands we’re still sitting pretty at the PSL’s summit having picked up 52 points from 23 games, however, the league is not won just yet.
Last season 59 points were enough for us to get our hands on the title, though we ended up winning it by just one point, though a win over Sundowns would put us six points clear of them, still with a game in hand. That could wrap it up, right?
We have an incredibly impressive record at home under Stuart Baxter in the league, and up to this point we are yet to lose a game in the PSL when enjoying home advantage.
If we can make it to the end of the season with that record intact, then the trophy will be staying at Naturena, where it belongs, for at least another year.
