Xolani Mdaki’s move to Djurgardens IF of Sweden is proof of the good work that Mamelodi Sundowns is doing for South African football.
The versatile player has been loaned to the Swedish club. He is available for selection for his new club after being held up by a Swedish work permit earlier on.
Regardless of the criticism that Sundowns has been getting for having too many players and loaning them out, the club has managed to send Mdaki to one of the big clubs overseas on a six-month loan deal.
That is good news for the future of the player who recently turned 22 years old in July.
Mdaki becomes the second Sundowns’ player to have been loaned overseas in recent times, following Nyasha Mushekwi’s move to KV Oostende of Belgium last season.
How will Mdaki benefit from playing in Sweden?
