Our team, the professionals, the educated Tukkies from the University of Pretoria are the only team in the PSL that has kept the coach for a long time.
Barker has done tremendously well for us and his job tells all, we’ve seen coaches coming and going but at Tuks, we held on to the ‘only one’.
He led us to the PSL promotion in May 2012, he has stayed with us for all these seasons. He remains the only coach in the PSL to have stayed with a single club for such a long time.
The management stuck with our coach despite good and bad times in the league. He has developed a good friendship or has maintained a good working relationship with ur players.
But our challenge now is to win a major title in the top flight, is he the right man to give us a trophy? How can the management provide the necessary tools for him to deliver silverware in our cabinet?
I believe we need players, will they give him money to buy?
