Apart from the much favoured Soccer City, Cape Town Stadium and the Moses Mabhida Stadium, all of which have world class pitches, are the other stadiums in Mzansi up to standard?
Honestly speaking, not really. Recently, in the South African promotion play-offs, Black Leopards, Polokwane City and Milano United played on pitches that really looked poor. There are probably high schools with better pitches.
Is it really acceptable to play under such conditions? If the PSL is the wealthiest league on the continent, and SAFA apparently have enough momney to hire expensive coaches, they should pay for better pitches here in SA.
