Ng’ambi- Chiefs Wanted It More

In Soccer Laduma’s issue 885, our star man, Robert Ng’ambi, admitted that Kaizer Chiefs had more ‘hunger’ to win the MTN8 semi-final clash than we did.

“Yes, it wasn’t an easy one. I must say, but they were hungrier than us. They wanted to win it and we were not fortunate as we missed great chances in the first half,” he said.

As disappointed as I am to hear him admit this, I am inclined to agree that it did come across this way.

Our shooting was dismal on the night. Although we produced eight shots at goal, we only struck the target three times, leaving as with a 37% shooting accuracy.

Chiefs also had the better possession statistics on the day, which left us out played on our own home ground.

Where is the passion guys?!
