The Ship Was Docked

Last night Orlando Pirates were left frustrated as Mpumalanga Black Aces came away with all the points. The result has dented Pirates hopes of finishing much higher up the log.  What does this mean for the Sea Robbers?

It means that there is lots of work needed to be done if we want to win anything next season. This season we possibly only have the Nedbank Cup to fall onto. The issue of ageing defenders will always be brought up unless we invigorate the defence line.

With that said, we now have to go back to the drawing board. Coach Vladimir Vermezovic had a bumpy start at Pirates and could well be in an experimental phase.

The loss could do little with the morale of the team with the regards to winning the ABSA Premiership. However, it does indicate that we are still in third gear if not the second.

Was the loss against Aces the true eye-opener?
