As much as Peter Petersen has been a loyal servant to Maritzburg United over the years, I think age is against him as he contemplates his playing future.
With just a small handful of appearances under his belt in 2013/14, it's time to say, "Petersen, it's time to go, mate."
A coaching role undoubtedly awaits you at the Team of Choice. We thank you for your service but it's time to say goodbye. It's always better to go out on top rather than to overstay your welcome.
