Orlando Pirates have agreed to personal terms with Zambian striker Evans Kangwa, Soccer Laduma reported today.
Kangwa was the Under 20 COSAFA Player of the Tournament and was a member of the Zambia team that won the 2012 Afcon.
I am happy to hear of this development, because it means Bucs are searching abroad for goalscroing talent, which is something we lacked at times last season.
Judging by the laughably small amount of goals scored in the PSL last season, the major South African strikers proved that they need some inspiration to put the ball in the back of the net.
With Pirates searching for strikers from other countries, maybe competition from hungry foreign goal-getters like Kangwa can provide other PSL striker the inspiration they need.
