Bucs Out To Break Their Duck

Orlando Pirates will be looking to register their first PSL win when they take on AmaZulu at Orlando Stadium tonight.

Bucs lost 2-1 to Soweto rivals Moroka Swallows in their opening league match, before drawing with Bloemfontein Celtic in the second game.

As a result, the mighty Bucs are lying 11th on the log after collecting just one point from their opening two games.

We have met AmaZulu for 51 league matches since 1985. Our record is impressive in that we've won 22 matches compared to 10 for Usuthu, while no less than 19 matches have been drawn.

Pirates have won 15 of their 25 home matches against AmaZulu down the years, suffering four defeats in the process.

Last season Usuthu took four points off the Buccaneers, winning 1-0 in Soweto before playing to a 1-1 draw in the return game in Durban.

But looking at the statistics, this is going to be a tough match for Orlando. In the last five matches between the two sides, both Pirates and AmaZulu have won one game each, while the other three have ended in draws.

Buccaneers, predict your starting XI
