Mpumalanga Black Aces have signed over 20 players over the last season, and a number of those are well known names.
Although we can be happy with the quality of players in most instances, do you not think that the amount of signings is causing more harm than good?
Mabhudi Khenyeza is an example of a player doing well after joining – while Method Mwanjali and Mbulelo Mabizela are others that have done a good job.
But then you look at the goalkeeping department and see Calvin Marlin, Energy Murambadoro and Jackson Mabokgwane coming in when we have a great goalkeeper in Bafana Nhlapo.
Then comes bigger names, like Abia Nale or Tendai Ndoro, who have come to get a chance to play, but we continue to sign new players like the recent signing of Thulasizwe Mbuyane – meaning we now have seven strikers!
Could this not cause unrest in the camp? Is it the reason why we have been inconsistent? Or do you think having this depth could help Aces stay up?
