Manqoba Mngqithi is proving to be a good addition to the technical team of Mamelodi Sundowns. The Brazilians have been doing well since the arrival of Mngqithi at the club.
The players’ performances have improved. The kind of football played by our team is interesting.
I am not sure what the other fans think, but the kind of football played by our team reminds me of the 2009 MTN8 Final when Golden Arrows outclassed Ajax Cape Town 6-0.
Lebohang Mokoena, Dove Wome, Anthony Laffor and the guys play the kind of football that was displayed by Njabulo Manqana, Richard Henyekane, Thokozani Mshengu – the Arrows' players that were on form for Mngqithi on that night of triumph at the Orlando Stadium.
Pitso Mosimane, Alex Bapela and Manqoba Mngqithi work together in the technical team for the benefit of Sundowns.
The three coaches have different qualities and may see things differently on some issues at times. However, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the influence of Mngqithi on the kind of football played by Sundowns lately.
