Having more money than everyone else makes it easy to get the best players. This is simply true. Look around the world, as clubs like PSG, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, even Tottenham, spend loads of money on the world's greatest players in hopes of translating that into victories.
But, for many of them, the money is wasted. They often do not win trophies, and many times they end up being punished for unethical spending.
But Sundowns have broken that trend. Last season the club dumped loads of money on new players, but many thought they still didn't have what it takes to win. However, Pitso Mosimane proved his coaching brilliance as he led us to the top of the PSL and into Africa.
If we want to bring home continental glory, however, we'll have to do more than spend money. Everyone, including Pitso, will have to be on top of their game. We will have to play with heart and passion and hunger for the trophy.
