Pieterse And Khuzwayo Are The Future

Itumeleng Khune has been the big name in South African goalkeeping for several seasons now. He is a constant for Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana, asserting his superiority over other competent keepers in the land.

But Itu will not be with us forever. He seems ever more eager for a move to Europe, and a player of his calibre deserves that dream.

Luckily for Amakhosi, we have two bright young talents behind Khune in Reyaad Pieterse and Brilliant Khuzwayo. Each of the young keepers put in three appearances for Chiefs last season and performed well.

While Pieterse just signed a new contract at the Naturena, Khuzwayo's future is a bit less certain, but both keepers show promise.

However happy I am to have Itu on our side, I am glad to know that we have the future of our defence covered as well.
