I praised Jackson Mabokgwane’s performance for us during our 1-0 win over SuperSport United in the opening league match of the season, but his performance last Sunday against Orlando Pirates has left me pondering.
Who is better, Moeneeb Josephs or Mabokgwane?
Well, we saw the latter’s abilities on the field in the first two games but his positional play was cast in doubt when we lost 2-0 to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semi-final two days ago.
Josephs' capabilities, meanwhile, are in no form of doubt. He was a stalwart for us last season and a skipper who egged us on and carried us through to the Nedbank Cup final.
But Josephs’ return is still in a state of uncertainty after our club’s fitness and conditioning coach, Paul Johnstone, confirmed that his return is still unknown.
Who would you prefer to see in goals?
