All Is Not Lost

In football you won’t always win, and Mamelodi Sundowns realised this the hard way on Saturday.

The team threw everything at Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal, but ended up on the losing side. You could see from Pitso Mosimane’s much talked-about facial expression after the game that he badly wanted to win the cup for us the supporters.

We’ve been on a good run and it was our first loss in a long time. It was a good wake-up call because we’re still in the running for the league title. It would be disastrous if we were knocked out of the cup as well as out of contention in the league. All is not lost.

Do you agree, MaSandawana? Can we win the league title and make amends for the Nedbank Cup loss?
