Hate him or love him, you can never question Pitso Mosimane’s passion for the game.
The Mamelodi Sundowns coach was the big talking point from the weekend’s games, with a picture of him shedding a tear during the rounds in the social media. After the Nedbank Cup loss to Orlando Pirates, Mosimane had some interesting things to say about the performance of one Pirates player whom he thought was not being professional in the way he conducted himself on the field.
These days we don’t see much of the personalities of our coaches, with the fans and sometimes the players being the only ones who make the game worth watching. That’s why it’s quite refreshing to see a coach like Mosimane who calls it like he sees it. He understands that the game is all about entertainment and has been likened to Jose Mourinho.
Masandwana, what’s your assessment of Mosimane as a coach?
