It has been hard to point out any weak points in Kaizer Chiefs lately with the squad being very strong under Coach Stuart Baxter.
He knows what’s expected and can anticipate changes when required. Bringing the enquiry to mind, is our left back position strong enough?
That question can be answered with a positive no.
First of all let’s look at what happened in that left back department for us. The first real sign of deterioration was when Tsepho Masilela was injured. When fit he is the first choice left back. Keegan Ritchie was sold and now we are left with the unproven Simphiwe Mtsweni and the injury-prone Jimmy Jambo.
So it appears that Masilela has no real contest in that spot. Who should Baxter then bring in with a hope of bolstering the flanks? Thato Tlhone, the Free State Stars man has been a regular for Ea Lla Koto this season and could possibly provide good opposition for Masilela.
What are your feelings? Who would be the best man for the job?
