There are few things more frustrating than having a really powerful and fast car but being unable to use it to its maximum capacity.
This is the scenario I sense at Kaizer Chiefs with regards to the back-line. We have three quality centre-backs, each one with his own unique set of skills and yet we don’t have the perfect combination.
There is Eric Mathoho (The Tower) who probably is the fittest of the central defenders. Eric has the engine to run hard for the entire 90 minutes of the game.
We then Have Tefu Mashamaite (Masha) who is definitely the brains of all the defenders at Amakhosi, Masha is a vocal leader and able to organise the back four with his understanding of the game.
The muscle (which is sometimes overzealous) is provided by Morgan Gould. He is the intimidator of the back four. Just ask Getaneh Kebede, who's received a stiff jab from Gould.
Lastly there is the towering and gigantic Ivan Bukenya. Not a lot is known about this 21-year-old Ugandan defender other then the fact that he is huge at 1,9 meters tall.
This has to be the season where we discover the rock solid combo we need to win back our PSL title. Who do you think it will be?
