Golden Arrows midfielder Ntlantla Zothwane has confirmed to Soccer Laduma that he is leaving the club, after almost eight years of service.
Obviously injuries have hampered his progress over the last couple of seasons and he will be disappointed about that. Also, there was a bit of pressure on him to follow in the footsteps of his brother, Papi Zothwane, who made a name for himself at the club before moving to Mamelodi Sundowns and earning a few Bafana Bafana call-ups.
However, because he played for a club that did not have as many fans as your Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, he managed to express himself freely on the occasions when he was injury-free or given a chance. He was an enterprising midfielder who also had an eye for goal and here’s to wishing him all the best in his future endeavours.
Hopefully he finds a team in the PSL where he can continue to do well.
What did you think of the younger Zothwane’s contribution to Arrows?
