With four games to go in the 2013/14 season, and our team lying 4th on the Absa Premiership log, there cannot be any more appropriate time to thank Tamsanqa Teyise for great service to AmaZulu.
The player contributed hugely to the progress of AmaZulu this season with his impressive performances. He has been consistent at the back alongside Carlington Nyadombo.
The player signed a pre-contract with SuperSport United in January and there is nothing that anyone can do to change that now.
AmaZulu wanted to keep Teyise in Craig Rosslee’s team beyond this season. However, it wasn’t to be as the player felt that at 27 he needed to secure his future while his legs can still do the job.
Teyise remained professional and did his job well for the team, despite signing for Matsatsantsa. The Alexandria-born player missed just two league games this season.
He has a whopping 23 starts next to his name for Usuthu this season. We thank you Tamsanqa, and that’s from all of us at AmaZulu!
