Students Pluck Birds

Last night birds were on the menu and our boys plucked away to ensure a satisfying and filling meal which consisted of 3 full points.

The Dube Birds have failed to fly all season long and it was not going to change when they faced our students in a crucial encounter that would push the University of Pretoria up to 10th position, a step closer to a highly contested top 8 finish.

Our boys utilised the counter attack with deadly effect and showed immense character to come back after Swallows had taken the lead through Roger da Costa, but Tuks rallied and scored two goals from Geoffrey Massa and a late winner by Grant Kekana to give the all so vital victory.

Can Barker guide us to a top 8 finish so we can compete for silverware next season?
