It’s a known fact that hi-tech equipment will enhance the fitness levels and overall game play of modern era football players. However one cannot disregard the benefits of good old repetition on the training grounds.
Taking extracts from this week’s Editors Column in the latest edition of Soccer Laduma, editor Clint Roper highlighted the importance of being professional.
When speaking about how the best players in the world get to where they currently are, he said; “They operate in the eye of the storm. People aren’t born with that. That is down to hours and hours of repition, so that when those situations occur, when preparation meets opportunity, the greats, no not even the greats, just the good professionals are prepared.”
