Ajaxing Injuries

Injuries continue to cripple our beloved Cape Town pride, Ajax Cape Town.

Following our loss to Mpumalanga Black Aces last weekend, we are now tasked with getting three points away to Moroka Swallows tonight.

The blow is that we’ve lost the services of our captain and defender, Dominic Isaacs, Abbukaer Mobara, midfielder Koen van de Laak and Tashreeq Morris due to suspension.

A week ago, coach Roger De Sa told us that he aims to get a top eight spot but with such injuries to key players, is it possible?

Are we going to ruffle the Bird’s Nest with a crippled crew of warriors? Either way, the coach believes this is a chance for other players to play, so we'll see how it goes.

Do you think we we can get a top eight spot when injuries continue to ‘Ajax’ us?
