Mentioning the word if when referring to Golden Arrows’ chances of being relegated is like pouring water on the back of a duck...whatever that means, but it’s a foregone conclusion that the Durban side will be playing their competitive football in the NFD.
It’s really sad for us Arrows supporters who will miss the exciting brand of football produced by Abafana Bes’Thende. What is probably even more petrifying than the thought of relegation is the thought that we might not be able to get back into premiership football like so many other clubs that get lost in the NFD wilderness.
I would say that Arrows could use the time in the NFD to re-sharpen their arrows before coming back into the PSL, but that could be unlikely.
Can Arrows come back to the PSL after one season in the NFD?
