Willard Katsande is positive that Kaizer Chiefs will still be competing for the Absa Premiership title in May next year.
The Soweto side are off to a great start in the 2019/20 campaign, currently topping the league standings and headed off into the FIFA break off the back of two consecutive wins.
Chiefs will have two friendly encounters during the current break to continue with their momentum, coming up against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Shell Helix Ultra Cup and Bloemfontein Celtic in the Macufe Cup.
Speaking to Chiefs’ official website, Katsande is positive that his side can continue on their run and still be competing for the title come May next year.
“We have begun well and have had some good performances recently. Consistency will be key for us to achieve what we want. There is always room for improvement. We need to stay humble and continue working hard.
"I do feel that with the squad we have and with the way things have gone so far we will still be competing with the front runners come May,” he said.
